Engraving

 

Q.  What type of artwork do you prefer? 

EPS, PSD, or JPG.  For best results we suggest artwork between 300 and 600 DPI.  If you don’t know what any of this means, just send us what you have.  If the artwork isn’t usable, or if there’s a problem, we’ll let you know before we start the job.

 

Q.  Can I bring something in to be engraved?

Absolutely, customers bring us items all the time.  We love the challenge of engraving on new and exciting stuff.  There are no logo or setup charges.  Engraving charges for customer supplied items start at $15.00.

 

Q.  What type of materials do you engrave?

This is probably the longest question to answer.  We engrave glass, stainless steel, pewter, plastic, acrylic, leather, rock, corrian, (which is counter top material), crystal, gold, silver, rubber, anodized aluminum, brass.  We’re willing to try anything, and if it’s something we’ve never done before, we engrave test items for free. Please go to our engraving gallery to see samples of orders we’ve filled.

 

Q.  What type of things do you engrave?

This list is getting longer all the time.  We engrave bracelets, axes, tools, acrylic, gun parts, knives, leather, brass, pens, wood, ipods, aluminum, steel, pewter, glasses, platters, silver plated items, watches, drumsticks, wedding items and gifts, lighters, sports equipment, swords, scythes, rings (inside and outside), medals, coins, motorcycle parts.

 

Photography

 

Q.  How can I book a photo shoot?

Just call the store during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, and select the date, time and location of the shoot. 

 

Q.  When are you available for photo shoots?

We are available any time it’s light out.  Just call the store and make an appointment.  We take pictures 7 days a week, practice and game days, or when it’s convenient for you.


Q.  Why can’t I pick my photo online?

We choose to not offer online ordering to keep our prices down.  We do not want to raise our package prices, or have to charge location or sitting fees.  If you place an order with us and do not like the picture we selected, please let us know and we will change it.

 

Q. What are my child’s options for picture poses

Suggested poses are shown to the players before their individual pictures are taken.  All players can pick 2 different poses for their individual pictures.  We take at least 2 pictures per pose, so we have multiple pictures to choose from for order completion.

 

Q.    What if I don’t like the picture that was chosen for my child?

If you place an order with us and do not like the picture we selected, please let us know and we will change it.

 

General Information

 

Q.  What are your hours?

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

 

Q.  Why aren’t you open on weekends?

Unfortunately, we are not open on weekends because we are out doing photography.

 

Q.  How long will it take to fill my order?

Standard turn-around is 1 week.

 

Q.  Are there any hidden costs?

No.  There are no logo or setup fees.  We do not charge by the word or letter.  Engraving is free with an in store purchase.  Your engraving can be as long as you like.  Please just keep in mind, the more you engrave the smaller the text will be.

 

Q.  Can I get my logo engraved?

Yes, just email us the artwork.  There are no logo or setup fees.

 

Q.  I need a rush order.  What can I do?

Please call the store, email us or come in and ask if we can meet your deadline.  If we can complete your order for when you need it, we’ll take the job.  If not and you have to have it rush charges apply.  Rush job requirements are; paying in full when the order is placed, if it’s an in store purchase, accepting items already in inventory, and approving the engraving/layout before the job is started.  However, you must be available for proof approval.  We will not continue with an order unless the engraving is pre-approved.

 

Q.  How can I place an order?

You can either fax or email your order to the store.  We do not take orders over the phone to avoid miscommunication and spelling errors.
